• After first makingsurethe deck beltis properly
engagedin all of the deck pulleys,routethe deck belt
forwardthroughthe centerof the front deck hanger
rod and towardthe PTOpulleyon the bottomof the
engine,
• Usingthedeck lift handle,raisethedeck to the
positionthat gives youthe most horizontalrunof the
belt betweenthe deck pulleysand the PTOpulleyon
the bottomof the engine.
• Sitting in frontof the tractor,facing rearward,make
certain the beltis nottwisted;then reachbeneaththe
tractorto graspthe belt and pull it towardthe PTO
pulley,
NOTE: References to left and rightare fromthe front of
the tractorin the followinginstructions,
• Pull the rightside of the beltforwardand placethe
narrowV sideof the beltinto the PTOpulley,
• Whileholdingthe beltand pulleytogether,rotatethe
pulleyto the left. Continueholdingand rotatingthe
pulleyand beltuntil the beltis fully rolledinto the
PTOpulley,
