5. CONNECTION TO AN EXPANSION UNIT/HMI

The Digital Expansion Unit (EDU) or the Remote HMI is connected
to the Control Unit (UC) by means of a proper ribbon cable, using the
connector located in the front part of the Control Unit (UC). In order to
install the cable, follow the procedures below:
The other end of the cable must be connected to the Digital Expansion
Unit (EDU) as described in procedures 2(a) and 2(b) or connected to the
DB9 connector of the remote HMI.
NOTE!
Do not remove the connection cable by pulling the cable
itself, in order not to damage it.
