Powering up using the switch with PoE support
2. Connect the Voiper/Voiper PoE WAN port to the network access point;
3. Leave the LAN port disconnected;
4. After the physical installation, follow the instructions under the item
Configurations.
Note: the PoE switch complies with IEEE802.3af standard on its WAN interface.

Default settings

• WAN: DHCP client (receives network IP)
• LAN: Bridge mode

Setting up internet access

If the access to broadband is made via a modem/router with a DHCP server
(distributes IP to the network), the user will have access to the internet and
can go on to the item VoIP Configurations. Otherwise, it is necessary to first
verify the type of network:
• Static IP (fixed): usually used for corporate installation.
• PPPoE: when the modem is in Bridge mode and the telephone is working
as a router, ADSL authentication should be made by the Voiper PoE.
