E - Special features the remote control "RCC" - code 70250051
F
• Change-over (heating/cooling switch):
- Instead of the temperature sensor, a potential-free external
GB
contact (not supplied) can be connected, the closing of
which causes the thermostat to switch to cooling mode
and the opening causes it to switch to heating mode.
I
- The same contact can control up to ten controls by
connecting the sensor inputs (B2-M) of the various
thermostats in parallel.
E
- Important:
- The 230V power supply of the controls connected
D
in this manner must come from the same source. The polarities must be strictly respected.
- Maximum total connection length: 80m with 1.5 mm
- As the sensor inputs are connected to 230V, use a contact and cable which satisfy the corresponding
insulation requirements.
- To avoid electromagnetic disturbance, do not route this connection next to power cables.
• Mode switch Eco/Stand-by:
- The same external contact (not supplied) can control up to ten commands by connecting the corresponding inputs
in parallel. (D1 - GND).

5 - ACCESSORIES

5.1 - ACTIVATED CARBON AIR FILTER - code 397021907
• See "Operating instructions".
5.2 - 3-WAY VALVE + BY-PASS - code 70600071
• The valve is supplied without coupling or tube and it is to be installed outside of the unit.
• The thermic actuator must be connected following the system wiring diagram.

6 - STARTING

Before doing any work on the air conditioner, make sure it is switched off and put out of bounds.
Any work must be carried out by personnel qualifi ed and authorised to work on this type of air conditioner.

6.1 - PRELIMINARY CHECKS

• Make sure:
- that the water circulates correctly in the air handler,
- that the heat exchanger has been purged,
- that the connections are correctly tightened and have
good thermal insulation,
- that there are no leaks,
- that the air handler is well fi xed,
- that the power cables are well fi xed to their connection
terminals,
- that the electric cables are properly insulated from any
pieces of sheet or metal parts which could damage
them,
- that the unit is connected to earth,
- that no tools or any other objects have been left in the
units (specially form packing-pieces in the discharge
louvers),
- that the fi lter is correctly fi tted,
- that the condensate discharge outlet is correctly
connected,
- that the condensate collection tank is clean.

IMPORTANT
6.2 - SWITCH ON THE UNIT
• Using the isolation and protection device.
6.3 - STARTING
• Via the On/Off switch located on the remote control.
• Select one of the fan speeds using the switch on the remote
control.
• Modify the adjustment of the temperature set point to
check the operation and the direction of activation of the
regulation.
• Adjust the temperature setpoint value to the required
value.
• Adjust the position of the defl ection fl aps if necessary.
Note:
A fuse (F1) located on the printed circuit board protects the unit's
circuitry (see electrical diagram).
- Rating : 2 A - 250 V.
- Type : F - High breaking capacity.
- Size : 5 x 20.
