INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
Make sure that all the product's packaging has
•
been removed.
This appliance is designed to toast and heat
•
bread. Do not use it to cook any other food.
Install the crumb tray correctly. Never use the
•
toaster without having correctly installed the
crumb tray
Before using this product for the first time, it is
•
advisable to test it without bread. It's normal for
it to give off a bit smoke at starting
Some parts of the appliance have been lightly
•
greased. Consequently, the first time the appli-
ance is used a light smoke may be detected.
After a short time, this smoke will disappear.
USE:
1. Plug it into the mains.
•
2 Put slices of bread on the toaster grill (4).
•
DO NOT spread oil or butter on slices of bread
•
before toasting.
DO NOT cover the toaster grill completely with
•
bread. Leave spaces between slices.
3. Select the toasting time by turning the knob
•
(5) (maximum time: 5.5 minutes). The toasting
time depends on the type of bread (frozen, dry
or day) and its thickness.
4. The Control knob (5) acts as a switch at the
•
same time. While it is heating, the pilot light will
be illuminated 5 Turn the slice of bread over
manually when it is toasted on one side.
6 The toasting process will end automatically
•
at the end of the toasting time,
7. If you want to stop it beforehand, either set
•
the regulator to 0, or unplug the power cord
8. Even if you unplug it from the main, the
•
toasting time control (5) will continue rotating
until you reach the end of its path
