Calibrating
Calibrating
Before weighing yourself for the first time, you have to calibrate the scale in order to
obtain a weighing result that is as exact as possible.
− Using the calibration wheel, centre the weight pointer on the "0" of the dial.
Check the zero-setting from time to time, e.g. when you change the
location of the scale. When no load is on the scale, the weight pointer must
be centred on "0".
Weighing
1. Position yourself on the scale. Remain standing still and do not hold on to anything.
2. Read off your measured body weight from the weight pointer.
Weigh yourself with as little clothing on as possible.
Try to weigh yourself always at the same time and under consistent
conditions in order to obtain comparable values.
Cleaning
NOTE on material damage
Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
Do not under any circumstances use harsh, scraping, or abrasive
cleaning agents or the like to clean the scale. If you do, the surface
could be scratched.
− Wipe down the scale as needed using a lightly dampened, soft cloth.
− Disinfect the weighing surface from time to time using a suitable disinfecting
agent (available at specialist retailers and pharmacies).
Fault/Remedy
Fault

weighing results.
