Instruction Manual
Before using your new Steren´s product, please read this instruction
manual to prevent any damage.
The instructions of this manual are for reference about the product.
There may be differences due to updates.
Please check our web site (www.steren.com) to obtain the latest
version of the instruction manual.
• Do not expose your equipment to extreme temperatures.
• Always use a smooth, clean and dry cloth to clean the equipment.
• Make sure that the volume control is set to minimum position before using. Loud
noise produced when using the unit at high volume can impair hearing.
The megaphone can play MP3 files, being perfect to play the same message as
many times as you want, you can record a message into an USB memory or SD card
from your computer or make several recordings and play them into the megaphone.
Furthermore, you can use the megaphone as always or even activate a siren in an
emergency.
It features control buttons to play, independent volume control, function selector and
play indicator LEDs.
• Maximum scope: 1 km in suburban area without noise / 500 metres into the city.

1. Unlock the battery compartment.
- When not using the megaphone for a long period of time, remove the batteries.

2. In order to be able to be heard in a better way, try to be in an area
free of obstacles.
3. Get close enough to the microphone to be heard
clearly.
4. To activate the siren, place the function switch to SIREN.
5. In order to turn it off, simply move the switch again.
The MG-260 will play the latest USB flash drive / SD card connected.
7. The LED will start blinking to indicate that the card or memory
is being read. Audio files playback will start automatically.

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from
the date of purchase.

b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.

on the microphone or the handle. If you prefer to keep me-
gaphone on, move the button on the microphone upwards.

drive, insert it into the appropriate port and move the
switch to the USB/SD position.
