SAFETY DEVICES

The mowers are equipped with different safety
devices which are:
1) MOTORSTOP
The working position of the Motorstop control
lever 1, which controls engine stop, is shown
in Fig. 10.

LUBRICATION

(Fig. 13)
TYPE OF LUBRICANT
Engine: see engine manual.
Mower: use only ESSO UNIFARM 15-40 W
oil and ESSO MULTIPURPOSE grease.
1) ENGINE
Every day: check level and top up if
necessary.
Oil replacement: to be carried out according
to intervals and methods set out by the engine
manufacturer.
2) GEARBOX
(capacity 1,8 Kg.)
Every 20 hours: check level and top up if
necessary.
Every 500 hours: replace oil.

If, for any reason, the handlebars are released
from the operators hands, lever 1 will
automatically adopt the position shown in Fig.
11 and thus stop the engine.
2) CLUTCH HOOK
When clutch hook C (Fig. 12) is inserted, any
power transmission with gears engaged is
prevented.

3) POWER TAKE-OFF FOR IMPLEMENTS
Before attaching Implements, fill up with
Multipurpose grease.
Oil must be replaced when hot, by unscrewing
fill cap A and fill cap B equipped with an oil
dipstick.
When oil is completely drained, replace cap A
and fill up with new oil through hole B (1.8
Kg).
Check level by using dipstick on cap B.
This operation is to be done with mower in
horizontal position.
