WRITING AND SENDING A TEXT
MESSAGE
NOTE: Sending an MMS is like sending an SMS. The
difference is that multimedia content is involved. Use an
MMS to send attachments, such as images and audio
or video files.
1. Go into the main menu, and select the Mes-
sages menu
2. Select New SMS. Press OK to confirm.
3. Enter your text using the keypad.
4. Press Options, and select Send to.
5. You can choose Enter number or Add exis-
ting contact to add the number of one of your contacts.
6. Use the
Enter number and Add existing contact, then press OK.
Enter the number, then press OK to confirm.
7. Press Options to select Send.

The letters of the alphabet are found on the number keys 2-9.
When you are in text entry mode—to enter a name or write a
message or note—the phone automatically switches to letter
mode.
Letters on the number keys are inserted according to the
number of times the relevant key is pressed; this is multi-press
mode.
