5. Use only drinking water to make ice.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
2. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in
abnormal state. If its main cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a qualified person.
3. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter,
or touch hot surface.
4. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
5. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
6. Place the device on a stable stand with a flat horizontal surface.
The surface must be dry and clean. Lift, place and store the
device only in an upright position. Do not tilt the device more
than 45° from the upright position
7. If you moved the device, wait at least 30 minutes before
switching it on.
8. The appliance is not intended for operating by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
9. Don't use the appliance outdoors.
10. Make sure that the lid is closed during operation.
11. Place the device in a well-ventilated area. Ensure at least 8 inches
of free space around the device for the heat sink. Do not cover
the device during operation and do not block the air holes in the
housing.
12. The room temperature should be at least 41 °F.
