Before you start, you should have:

One computer with Windows 2000 SP4 or
above, or Windows XP SP1 or above

One MFP or standard printer with a USB
port and an installation CD
•
One Category 5 Ethernet cable

One USB cable (not included—usually comes with printer)

Unpack the Print-Server package and verify
that all the items listed are provided.

Connect the Print Server to your network by attaching one
end of the network cable to the Print Server's network

port and the other to an available port on your router.

Plug one end of the power adapter to the Print Server and the

other into an electrical outlet. The Print Server will perform
a Power-On Self-Test (POST ) after it is powered on. When
