ATTENTION
Carefully read, understand and follow all the information in this user manual before installing and
using the pool.
These warnings, instructions and safety guidelines address a number of common risks related to
aquatic recreation, but they cannot cover all the risks and dangers associated with all eventual-
ities. Always exercise caution, common sense and good judgement when having fun with water
activities.
Keep this information for future use.
SAFETY OF NON-SWIMMERS
• The device may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or necessary knowledge, provided that they are supervised
or have received instructions regarding the safe use of the device and understanding of the hazards inherent
in it. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried
out by children without supervision.
• At any time continuous, active and supervised surveillance of weak swimmers and non-swimmers by a
competent adult is required (remember that children under the age of five run the maximum risk of drowning);
• designate a competent adult to supervise the pool every time it is being used;
• weak swimmers or non-swimmers should wear personal protection equipment when using the pool;
• when the pool is not in use or is not supervised, remove all toys from the pool and the surrounding area to
avoid attracting children to the pool.

SAFETY DEVICES

• It is advisable to install a barrier (and to secure all doors and windows, where applicable) to prevent un-
authorised access to the pool;
• barriers, pool covers, pool alarms, or similar safety devices are useful aids but are not substitutes for
continuous supervision by a competent adult.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

• It is advisable to keep rescue equipment (for example a lifebuoy) near the pool;
• keep a working phone and a list of emergency telephone numbers by the pool.
SAFE USE OF THE POOL
• Encourage all users, especially children, to learn how to swim;
• learn basic first aid techniques (cardiopulmonary resuscitation - CPR) and refresh this knowledge regularly.
This can make the difference during the rescue of a human life in the event of an emergency;
• instruct all pool users, including children, about how to proceed in an emergency;
• never dive into a shallow body of water. This can lead to serious injury or death;
• do not use the pool when alcohol or medications are being used which could impair the ability to use the
pool safely;
