HOW TO CHANGE WICK
1. Remove replacement wick from package and soak in water for 5 minutes, or until saturated.
2. Remove the mist spout by turning it to the right until the icons align in the "unlock
Lift up to remove the mist spout and set it aside.
3. Unlock the spring loaded wick by turning the wick holder counter-clockwise and removing from the top
cover.
4. Remove the old wick from the wick holder and discard.
5. Place the new, soaked wick into the wick holder.
6. Place the wick holder back on the unit and lock into place by turning the holder clockwise.
To purchase new wicks, model # UHE-CM15WC4, go back to the retailer (where you purchased your
humidifier), or visit (US) www.homedics.com, (CAN) www.homedics.ca.
If you live in an area with hard water, or use a water softener, we recommend using distilled water for
better results from your humidifier. Never use water softening additives in your humidifier.
