7. Oil the grinding surfaces of the upper blade with
the oil supplied (fig. 4).
8. Insert the screw through the openings on the
lower and upper blades.
9. Position the lower blade so that the grinding
surface protrudes approx. 1.5 to 2 mm beyond the
edge of the upper blade (fig. 5).
10. Replace the knob you previously removed and
screw it back on the tension nut (2).

ATTACHING THE COMB
With the attachment comb you can regulate the
cutting length. Recommended for horses with
Cushing's syndrome.
1. Switch off the clipper and disconnect it from the
power supply.
2. To attach the attachment comb, remove the lower
blade as described in section 7.4.
3. Slide the attachment comb onto the lower
shearing blade (Fig. 6).
4. Re-attach the lower blade as described in section
7.4
