7.5 SMOKE REGULATOR DIAPHRAGM
The new series of Appliance features a smoke butter y
regulator diaphragm that is used to adjust draught based
on ue dimensions.
If the ue has a small cross section and is not very high,
you can increase replace draught with the door closed
as follows:
1) Extracting the smoke diaphragm (Fig. 6.1.5.1)
Open the Appliance door. Slightly lift the smoke
diaphragm and pull it towards you (1) so you can pull it
out from the top (Part . A) and side supports. Slant the
diaphragm diagonally and pull it out (Fig. 6.1.5.2).

Loosen the nut with a size 13 xed spanner, screw down
the rod with a screwdriver (2 Fig. 6.1.5.3), tighten the nut
again. Put the smoke diaphragm back in place.
If it is not adjusted appropriately, recalibrate the butter y
diaphragm until combustion is good.
A ame that is too strong does not mean that combustion is
good and must be corrected by adjusting the combustion
air and the smoke diaphragm.
