Maintenance: Drive Belt

With rotating brush removed
(steps 1-3 maintenance floor
brush roll), grasp old drive belt
and remove from motor pulley.
Maintenance: Cleaning the Dirt Tank

With the top handle
removed, wash the dirt
tank in warm water
with mild detergent.
Allow tank to air dry.
Maintenance: Clearing a Clog

Remove dirt tank and
check suction inlet
located on body of
vacuum for debris.

Place new belt over
motor pulley and
stretch other end
over the floor brush.

Twist top handle from the round
separator counterclockwise to
release. Wash in warm water with
mild detergent. Dry completely
before reassembling.

NOTE: If clog persists, follow the floor brush roll maintenance
steps on page 8 and inspect air passageways for obstructions.

Place ends of rotating floor
brush down into slots.
Reposition bottom cover and
replace all 6 screws.

Align tabs to return
separator to top handle.
Align latch arrows and
twist tank clockwise
until "clicks" into place.
Grasp upper hose end and twist
elbow counterclockwise to
remove. Remove lower hose end
by pulling it from vacuum base.
Unclog by inserting a "blunt"
object, like a broom handle, into
hose to dislodge blockage. Do
not use sharp objects.
