Connecting the Tubing
The system includes push-in fittings for quick tubing connection. Read the following instructions before connecting the tubes in the next step.
Cut tube to a suitable length
• Use a sharp cutter or knife to cut the end of the tubing. Always cut the tubing square.
• Inspect the end (about 30 mm) of the tubing to be sure there are no nicks, scratched or other rough spots. If needed, cut the tubing again.
Connect the tube
• Should you need to use substitute tubing not supplied together with the system,
do ensure it is of the exact size, roundness and has an equally smooth surface.
• Push the tubing through the collet until it engages the O-ring. Continue pushing until
the tube bottoms out against the back of the fitting. (A common mistake is to stop
pushing when the tube engages the O-ring. This will lead to future leakages.) When
a 1/4" tubing is fully engaged, 20 mm of the tube has entered the fitting (Figure 4).
Disconnect the tube (when needed)
• Push the collet inward with finger tips and hold it.
• Push the tubing out.
Using this Product
1. Ensure that all water connections are tight.
2. Turn on the power ONLY after turning on the water supply to the dispenser.
3. At the first point of usage, purge the system: power off the dispenser after 30 minutes, drawing off the hot and cold water via the hot and cold drainage
outlets respectively. BE CAREFUL WITH HOT WATER.
4. Restore tubing connections and power on after system purge. Your drinking water dispenser is now ready for use.
