OPERATING MANUAL
10 REMAINING RISKS AND SUGGESTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS AND FIRST AID MEASURES:
Should the user be accidentally hit with corrosive fluids and/or hot liquids, poison gas or anything that may cause serious
injury or death, provide first aid as required by current safety regulations and/or local regulations.
FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES:
Should a fire break out in the work area, with risk of serious injury or death, provide first aid measures as specified by
current regulations and/or local regulations.
Only staff trained in the use of fire extinguishers should use the one available on the machine.OPERATION.

11 PREPARING TO WORK

Prepare the machine for operation (Read chapter 6 "PREPARING THE MACHINE");
1.
Turn a quarter clockwise the main switch key to position "1";

Adjust the speed, by the speed control (Nr. 2 Table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS – 240 version);

For the advancement of the machine, gradually pulling the steering handle (Nr. 1 table MACHINE COMPONENTS).
To stop the machine simply release the same, and the machine will stop in a few moments. To advance backward,
gradually push the steering handle (Nr. 1 table MACHINE COMPONENTS). The speed rate is determined by the
pressure exerted on the the steering handle;

Remove the vacuum hose from its rest position (Nr. 2 table MACHINE COMPONENTS).

Insert the arm in the cuff mounted on the vacuum hose and place the hand on the handle-control joystick (Nr. 3 table

MACHINE COMPONENTS);

Adjust the length of the handle-control joystick;

Adjust the positionof the support wheel of the vacuum hose in accordance with the height of the operator. The taller
is the operator the more close the wheel shoul be to the suction mouth;

To begin to vacuum, switch on the vacuum motor on the console (Nr. 4 table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS).
The power of the vacuum motor is set to the minimum, and is adjustable by keeping pressed the switch mounted on
the control handle-joystick (Nr. 9 table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS);
It is always recommended to use the vacuum motor at minimum. Set to maximum only when necessary, so as to
ensure the long performance.
The prolonged vacuum use at maximum reduces the machine's working autonomy.
10. To use the nebulizer placed at the end of the vacuum hose and the one inside the hopper is necessary to press the
switch mounted on the handle-control joystick (Nr. 10 table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS).
It is strictly forbidden to vacuum cigarettes or cigarette butts that have not been completely
extinguished before.
Danger of fire: do not approach with open flames.
11. When the hopper is full, the operator has to proceed to empty it. It is recommended to stop the machine and switch
on the filter cleaning system (on Aria 240 Super only) (Nr. 6 table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS) before
removing the hopper;
12. Place the vacuum hose in the rest position;
13. Raise the filter compartment (Nr. 7 table COMPONENTS MACHINE). It remains automatically raised;
14. Slide back the hopper until it reaches the ground. Once removed from the machine it is possible to translate it using
the wheels fitted;
15. During the emptying phase, it is important to:
 wear gloves and mask possibly to protect the respiratory airways from the dust;
 Unload the garbage on a suitable place;
 Comply with environmental regulations and waste disposals;
 Avoid the presence of people in proximity of the unloading area.
16. If a waste bag has been used for the collection, simply remove the bag and insert a new one;
17. To insert back the hopper on the machine is necessary:
 pivoted downwards and simultaneously keep the lid locked;
 take the wedges fixed to the machine frame with the lower part of the container;
 straighten the hopper and push it to the end, even using feet to push, if necessary;
18. Close the filter compartment.
When the filter compartment is lifted the traction of the machine is disconnected. It is necessary to close the filter
compartment to reconnect the machine traction.
