1. PRELIMINARY INFORMATION

This manual contains a description of the device and refers to "intended use" as well as to its functional and
performance characteristics.
The instructions in this manual are integrated with and in no way replace the obligations to abide by current
health and safety laws.

1.1. INTENDED RECIPIENTS OF THIS MANUAL

This use and maintenance manual is intended for:
a) production manager;
b) installation staff;
c) operator/s;

d) maintenance and service staff.

1.2. STORAGE OF THIS MANUAL

This use and maintenance manual must be stored in a suitable place, close to the machine, so that it is freely
available for consultation and in the best possible condition.
We recommend making a copy of the manual for the operator and to keep the original in a safe place.

1.3. STAFF TRAINING

The persons who will be using, adjusting or servicing the machine must be suitably trained in order to acquire
sufficient skills to operate correctly and in complete safety. In particular, as provided for in current laws,
operators and maintenance engineers who will be using the machine, shall be suitably trained, under the
customer's responsibility, with the relevant courses.

1.4. GUIDE TO THE SYMBOLS USED IN THESE DOCUMENTS

Symbols have been used in this manual to highlight those texts that provide information which is useful
to avoid hazardous situations for the operator, for maintenance engineers, and for the system, and also to
highlight general notes of significant importance. The symbols used are:

TO THE MACHINE.

1.5. REFERENCE STANDARDS

The machine has been designed and build in conformity with the safety requirements set down in the directive
2006/42/EC of 17.05.2006 and regulation 1935/2004 EC of 27.10.2004.
