Operating instructions and warnings
Satisfactory operation requires the correct positioning of the
ANGOLO operator with respect to the gate (see F3 page 47).
The required automation must be selected according to the
gate to be moved; the attrition on the attachments, the weight,
the length/height of the gate leaf.

Instructions for risk-free operation
4.5.1 Transport
The ANGOLO gate operator is always delivered packed in
boxes that guarantee the product adequate protection. Carefully
read any warnings or instructions for storage and handling pro-
vided on the box.
4.5.2 Installation, assembly and disassembly
WARNING All installation, maintenance, cleaning or repair
operations on any part of the system must be performed
exclusively by qualified personnel with the power supply
disconnected working in strict compliance with the electrical
standards and regulations concerning power installations in
12
force in the nation of installation .
MALFUNCTION
When the opening command is given, the
gate wing fails to move and the operator's
electric motor fails to start
When the opening command is given, the
motor starts but the gate leaf fails to move
The operator jerks or is noisy during mo-
vement, it stops midway or else it does not
start.

"TROUBLE-SHOOTING" table
The operator is not receiving correct power supply. Check all connections,
fuses, and the power supply cable conditions and replace or repair it if neces-
sary. If the gate does not close check if the photocells work properly.
Make sure the unlocking system is closed (see F9, page 48)
Make sure that the electronic device for power adjustment is in good condition
The power of the gearmotor may be insufficient for the characteristics of the
gate's leaf; check the choice of model whenever required
If the plate fastening the operator to the gate bends or is inappropriately
fastened, repair it or reinforce it.
Fastening of the attachments must be performed with extra
attention on both iron pillars and masonry works and gates of any
type. The necessity of installing reinforcement plates must always
be carefully assessed in iron pillars and doors whenever the re-
maining part of the structure does not appear sufficiently strong,
especially if the metal plate used does not appear thick enough
or whenever the morphology of the gate appears to lack solidity.
In order to install the support use adequate dowels in masonry
pillars (to be fastened mechanically or chemically) which are not
included. Keep all welding seams well protected from corrosion.
Give extra attention to the alignment of the attachmen-
ts and their correct vertical positioning (See F3, page 47)
4.5.3 Start-up
The installation of the product requires masonry and/or wel-
ding and electrical connection operations: always use adequate
equipment for the job complying with accident-prevention stan-
dards and regulations in force in the nation of installation. The
product must be electrically connected to a special control unit
m
which is included (see point 5.1 and 5.2)
4.5.4. Use
ANGOLO has a realease system which allows you to release
the door from the operator in case of emergency or in case of
power failure. Once you have unlocked the lock on the handle
(protected by the plastic cover) turn the lever clock-wise as in F9,
page 48; the operator is released and, if no other obstructions
are present, the gate is free to move without hindrance. To re-
turn ANGOLO to normal working conditions, follow the oppo-
site procedure (remember to protect the lock with the respective
cover)
4.5.5. Adjustment
See point 5.2
WARNING Wrong assessment of impact forces may cause
serious damage to people, animal and things. DEA System
reminds all personnel that the installer must ascertain that
these impact forces, measured according to EN 12245 pre-
scriptions, are actually below the limits indicated by EN12453
regulation.
WARNING In order to ensure the operator long-lasting serv-
ice, program any necessary slow-down on the control board
in order to reduce the impact of fierce stops.
4.5.6. Maintenance and repair
Good preventive maintenance and regular inspection ensure
long working life (see also "Warranty"). Consult the "TROUBLE-
SHOOTING" table whenever anomalies are observed in order
to find the solution to the problem and contact DEA System di-
rectly whenever the solution required is not provided.

duled in the "complete automation maintenance handbook" are:
