Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically controlled
instantaneous heaters. Operation with low-pressure
displacement water heaters is not possible!
Specifications
• Flow pressure
- min.
- recommended
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure is greater than 5 bar, fit pressure reducer.
Avoid major pressure differences between cold and hot
water supply.
• Temperature
Hot water inlet
Recommended (energy saving)
• Water connection
Notes, see fold-out page I and II.
• Align height of inspection chamber with height of bath,
see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
• Install drain hose (A) for hose box (B); for installation
instructions see enclosed product description
95.502.xxx.
• Install connectors G1/2 according to specified
dimensions, see Fig. [1].
• With dimensions of 610mm x 150mm, the removable
cover plate (C) is designed for use with 150mm tiles,
see Fig. [2].
Obviously, it can also be used with tiles and plates of
any other dimensions.
This must however be taken into account when de-
signing the inspection chamber in order to ensure that
no problems arise during tiling.
For description, see final installation.
Preliminary installation
Installation of frame, see fold-out page II.
1. Insert the enclosed plugs (D1) in the masonry, see
Fig. [2].
For installation directly onto the floor, supporting
brackets are available as a special accessory (order
no. 45 388), see replacement parts fold-out page I.
2. Remove protective sleeves (E) and cover plate (C).
3. Screw enclosed hose (G) (long, red marking) to the hot
water threaded connector.
4. Screw enclosed hose (H) (short, blue marking) to the
cold water threaded connector.
5. Mount the drain hose (A) to the hose box (B).
6. Guide hoses (G) and (H) upwards through the fitting
assembly, insert the fitting and fix to the masonry using
the enclosed screws (D2).
7. Connect hoses (G) and (H).
For hose routing, see Fig. [3].
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Check connections for leakage
8. Locate cover plate (C) and protective sleeves (E),
see Fig. [2].
0.5 bar
1 - 5 bar
Note for plumber:
max. 10 bar
Do not carry out any further installation procedures until
16 bar
the bath has been installed or tiling is completed.
Note for tiler:
Prepare top plate (C), see fold-out page III.
1. Break out suitable drill holes out of the drilling
template (J), see Fig. [4].
max. 80 °C
60 °C
2. Place tiles on top plate (C), place drilling template (J)
on tiles and mark positions of apertures or bores.
cold - right
hot - left
3. Make apertures or bores in tiles, cement tiles to top
plate (C) and grout joints after cement has set, see
Fig. [5].
4. Locate top plate (C) and protective sleeves (E), see
Fig. [6].
Caution:
Proceed as follows if there is a difference in height
between the cover plate and the adjacent tiles:
1. Remove protective sleeves (E) and top plate (C) again
and turn the six grub screws (K) until plate is level with
height of bath rim, see Fig. [6].
2. Determine dimension X, see fold-out page III, Fig. [7].
If dimension X is greater than 22mm:
Perform final installation.
If dimension X is smaller than 22mm:
1. Screw off the three distance sleeves (L), see Fig. [8].
2. Screw off the three nuts (M) and pull off spout
mounting (N).
3. Srew on distance sleeves (L), push on spout
mounting (N) and tighten with nuts (M).
4. Locate top plate (C) and protective sleeves (E),
see Fig. [6].
Perform final installation.
Further installation procedures are explained in the final
installation for the trim set.
