Gas Requirements
Turn on gas and check all pipe connections (internal
and external) for gas leaks with a non-corrosive leak
detection fluid. Purge air in gas service line by
operating the tumblers in the drying mode. If burner
does not light and unit goes into lockout, open and
close the door and restart. Repeat these steps until
burner ignites. Use pipe compound, resistant to
actions of L.P. Gas, on all pipe threads.
WARNING
Do not use an open flame to check for
gas leaks! To reduce the risk of explosion
or fire check all pipe connections, internal
and external, for gas leaks using a non-
corrosive leak detection fluid. Check gas
connections annually for leakage.
