Connecting a computer

By using the USB cable to connect the Beat Boy
to a computer, the Beat Boy can be used like
a regular USB device.
Recorded data can be transferred to the
computer, or music data saved on the
computer can be transferred to the Beat Boy.
When the Beat Boy is connected to a
computer, the tuner, drum machine and
recorder do not run.
Computer system requirements
Windows
Computer with a USB port that runs Microsoft

Mac OS X 10.5 or later
Connecting the Beat Boy to the computer
Note: Use a USB cable with a Type A plug
on one end and a Mini-B plug on the other.
Note: When the Beat Boy is connected to a
computer via the USB cable, the power to
the device is supplied by the computer. Even
if the batteries are not inserted, the Beat Boy
will function on power supplied from the USB
port on the computer.

Turn on the power to the computer.

to the computer.
When the power is supplied by the USB
cable, "USB" will appear on the display.
