WEIGHING
• Ensure that the scale presents zero weight before making any
weighing operations. Correct it with the 'Zero' key if necessary.
• Place the product on the weighing platform, the weight appears
on the indicator.
• If a container must be used, place it on the load receptor and use the
'Tare' or 'Fix' key to reset the display to zero indication;
• Once the weight indication is reset, the load can be placed for normal
weighing operation. The respective 'Tare' or 'Fix' and 'Net' symbols
will be active as a reminder.
• Press 'Tare' or 'Fix' accordingly to remove tare and reset the display
back to zero when all load is removed from the load receptor.
Any weight readings or tare operations must be done only with the 'Stable weight'
indicator on.

BATTERY OPTION
If the instrument is equipped with an internal battery, in case of a mains power
failure or disconnection, the battery symbol will become visible indicating that the
instrument is using the internal battery as power source.
When the battery fully discharged, the instrument will emit a warning sound and the
'-off-' message, indicating that the battery should be fully charged immediately and
that the instrument will power itself off in short term.
Whenever the instrument is connected to the mains AC power, the internal battery
charging module will still be able to fully manage the battery power, even in the off state.
The battery status can be
checked by means of the
<Esc> key. Repeatably press
this key to access the status
messages or to return to the
main display.
Always fully charge to assure a longer battery life. Minimum charging time is 5
hours, charging up to 7 hours will extend its life cycle. Drained batteries deterio-
rate very fast to an irrecoverable state, fully charge immediately after use. Avoid
deep discharges. Avoid extreme temperature conditions.
