CAUTION
3. The TW1 should never be used as a blunt tool for
hammering, and care should be taken to prevent a hard
drop as this can negatively effect measurement
accuracy.
4. The TW1 should not be submerged in any fluid. The
TW1 does not need to be soaked in oil to lubricate the
wrench. (See maintenance section for lubrication
instruction.)
5. When prepping a fastener for torque application, do not
apply grease to threads. Take time to ensure the
fastener is clear of debris as this could affect torque
accuracy. Please refer to the fastener's manufacturer for
preparatory lubrication.
6. The TW1 should be operated with a steady amount of
force applied to the center of the handle to ensure
accurate force is applied to your fastener. Avoid
sporadic movement and sudden jerks in downward
force during use as this could negatively effect the
applied torque.
7. Torque multipliers should not be used with the TW1.
A torque multiplier will significantly decrease the torque
wrench's accuracy and possibly cause damage to the
head or fastener. No accessories except for impact
sockets should be used during operation. Use of
unapproved accessories could push the unit beyond its
rated capacity and will void your warranty.
