6.3.5.2 A mains water system monitoring pressure switch +
manometric contactor
– Set the water shortage protection switch (see FIG. 2 ref. 11).
In this position, the control manometric contactor is connected at
contactor terminals 5 and 6.
Setting the time-lag before re-start.
Incident
The pump won't start or
keeps stopping
Pump fault on starting
Pump fault permanent red
light
Faulty automation
The pump will start but
the flow rate is not high
enough

Causes
• The connection to the power
supply is incorrect:
• The voltage selection fuse (see
FIG. 2 ref. 10) has been inserted
incorrectly or burn out:
• Operating mode in "0" position:
• Opening of the remote control
circuit:
• No connection of sensors,
floats or shunts:
• Circuit-breaker open:
• Protection problem:
• Incorrect wiring:
• Triggering of thermal protec-
tion:
• Bad ground connection:
• Abnormally soft water:
• Time-lag at zero:
• Rotary speed too low:
• The pump is turning in the
wrong direction:
Following a stoppage due to lack of water, select the waiting time
before re-start (1 to 30 minutes).
This is set on the potentiometer (see FIG. 2 ref. 8).
7. MAINTENANCE
The YN7000 box does not require any particular maintenance.
8 . OPERATING TROUBLES
Before starting any service repar work, CUT OFF THE POWER
SUPPLY TO THE BOX.
Remedies
• Reconnect the power supply according to the voltage
available..
• Place the fuse in the correct holder. Change it if required.
• Move the selector (see FIG.1 ref.5) to the "AUTO" posi-
tion.
• Close the circuit or check for the presence of a shunt
(contactor terminals 5 and 6).
• Connect the sensors, the floats or insert the shunt
according to use (see FIG. 4).
• Close the circuit-breaker.
• Check the status of the relay.
• Check the wiring.
• Check that the setting threshorld conforms with the
identification plate on the motor (See § 6.2.1). Reset by
pressing the "RESET" button.
If the fault persists, contact ASS.
• Check the earth connections and the grounding of the
pump.
• Check the setting (see § 6.3.1.1)
• Check that the time-lag is functioning and is set cor-
rectly
• Check the mains voltage and the motor coupling.
• Swap round the two phase wires at the box's mains sup-
ply.
