A
A. Oven vent
The oven vent releases hot air and moisture from the oven, and
should not be blocked or covered. Blocking or covering the vent
will cause poor air circulation, affecting cooking and cleaning
results. Do not set plastics, paper or other items that could melt
or burn near the oven vent.
The bakeware material affects cooking results. Follow
manufacturer's
recommendations
and use the bakeware size
recommended
in the recipe. Use the following chart as a guide.

ULTRABAKE
TM
Temperature
Management
System
The ULTRABAKE
TM
system electronically
regulates the oven heat
levels during preheat and bake to maintain a precise temperature
range for optimal cooking results. The bake and broil burners
cycle on and off in intervals. This feature is automatically
activated when the oven is in use.
•
When using the oven for the first time, it is necessary to light
the surface burners first to purge air from the gas lines.
•
Do not try to light the oven burner during a power failure.
•
Do not place food or bakeware directly on oven door or oven
bottom.
To Bake or Roast:
Before baking and roasting, position the racks according to the
"Positioning
Racks and Bakeware" section. When roasting, it is
not necessary to wait for the oven to preheat before putting food
in, unless recommended
in the recipe.
1. Press BAKE.
Press the TEMP "up" or "down" arrow pad to enter a
temperature other than 350°F (175°C). The bake range can be
set between 170°F and 500°F (or 75°C and 260°C).
2. Press START.
"PrE HEAt" will appear on the oven display. The temperature
setting can be changed anytime after pressing START.
While the oven is in the preheat mode, the set temperature
can be seen for 3 seconds by pressing BAKE.
When the set temperature
is reached, if tones are enabled,
1 tone will sound.
3. Press STOP/CLEAR when finished cooking.
