Installation and Maintenance Instructions
When mounted outdoors, ensure that the rain guard on the swivel
base is oriented to protect the wire opening in the speaker from
falling rain.
SUFFICIENT SUPPORT FOR MOUNTING BOX—Always
provide sufficient support of the mounting boxes used to
mount the horn. Failure to do so may result in property
damage, serious injury or death.

Weatherproof Mounting in the WB Box

To mount the siren with the WB box:
1. See Figure 1. Insert the two #8-32 x 3-1/4 inch slotted pan-
head screws into the SST3-MV base at opposite corners.
2. Remove the white paper off the adapter gasket to expose
adhesive backing. Place the two adapter gaskets on either
sides of the adapter in grooves. Place the adapter with the
installed gaskets over the screws inserted in step 1.
3. Secure the SST3-MV base/adapter assembly in the WB box
with the pan-head screws as shown in Figure 1.
