Fast Measuring Mode
4.5.1 The electronic thermometer normally operates in fast measuring mode to
provide fast and accurate temperature measurements.
4.5.2 When the probe is removed out from the probe insert, the probe preheats to
33,5 °C (92,3°F).
4.5.3 To help remind the user to apply a probe cover, the probe cover icon will be
displayed and blinks for a few seconds.
To remind the user to remove the probe cover after the measurement, the
probe cover icon remains displayed.
4.5.4 Insert the probe end into a probe cover in the box. Push the handle firmly
until you feel the cover "snap" into place.
4.5.5 Take appropriate temperature measurement (oral, axillary or rectal).

4.5.7 A "long beep" is sounded when measurement is complete and the final
temperature is displayed.
4.5.8 After returning the probe to the probe insert, the temperature is stored. If the
probe is returned to the probe insert before the "long beep" is heard, no
temperature will be stored for the recall function
