3. The goggle is in
the correct posi-
tion when it is
comfortable with
little or no gaps.
4. To adjust the straps, slide the strap
webbing through the lens and
frame.
5. To tighten (increase pressure on
the face) pull the straps through
the slide buckle.
6. To loosen (reduces pressure on
face) loosen straps on sliding
buckles and strap toward goggle.
NEVER use any abrasive cleaners or
solvents on Defender lens goggles
or faceshield. Clean with mild clean-
ers and a soft cloth to avoid dam-
age.

SYSTEM
1. Remove protective covering from
lens.
2. To lower or raise
the Bourkes,
grab the edge of
either shield and
move it toward
or away from
face.

protection.
Bourkes are not certified to ANSI or
NFPA Standards.
Failure to use adequate eye protec-
tion can result in serious personal
injury or death.
DEFENDER LENS
1. To lower the
Defender Lens,
grasp the han-
dles on either
side of the lens
and pull down
and back.
2. To raise the Defender lens, grasp
the handles on either side of the
lens and push forward and up.
The Defender Lens must be stowed
in the full upright position when an
SCBA facepiece is worn.
Note: If additional nose bridge protec-
tion is desired when using the defend-
er lens in the deployed position, an
optional accessory nose bridge pad is
available P/N 10101798.
