USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

3The bed can be moved into different positions using the remote control.
Overview of the functions on the remote control:
1. Memory
2. Light under bed on
3. Light under bed off
4. Raise head end
5. Lower head end
THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL IS DISCHARGED
The white background light vanishing on the buttons indicates low battery
function. Open the battery chamber, turn the remote control on its head, and
push the lever to the side simultaneously as the chamber is removed. Replace the
CR2450 3V battery and push the chamber back inside.
MALFUNCTION
If you are unable to adjust the bed, proceed as follows:
• Check whether the plug has been inserted properly into the socket and that it is
connected to the power supply. Check for the green light indicating power.
• Check that there are batteries in remote control. Replace the batteries if they
have run out.
• Check if the motor works with the App.
• If you have two beds, check if the remote control works the other bed.
• If required remove the plug from the socket, wait for 20 minutes and repeat the
procedure.
• Do not open the motor, the electrical components or the remote control yourself.
The producer does not accept any liability if an unauthorised person has opened
the motor, or has tampered with the electrical components or the remote
control. New parts must be obtained from an authorised supplier.
• Reset the remote control, see separate paragraph.
NOISE LEVEL
A mechanical and electrically adjustable bed generates noise. The noise that the
bed makes may be reinforced by the acoustics of the room it is in.
EMERGENCY FUNCTION (BATTERY BACKUP)
In the event of a power failure, check to see that the 9V batteries are installed. By
using the remote control, the bed can be moved to a horizontal position. Press the
button for lowering the head end until the bed is in a horizontal position. Replace
the batteries in the motor after this function has been used or once a year.
USAGE
The bed's lifting motors are not designed for continuous usage. The bed will only
continue to be reliable and operate for a normal life if the motors do not operate
for longer than 2 minutes during a 18 minute period. If this limit is exceeded, the
life of the products will be reduced and the guarantee will no longer apply. The
bed has been constructed in such a way that it can bear a maximum weight of
150 kg, distributed equally over the entire surface of the bed, from the head end
to the foot end. If you exceed these limits, the product will be damaged and the
guarantee one no longer apply. It is important that no-one is sitting on the head or
foot and of the bed while the bed is raised.
NB!
If used carelessly, items may become trapped by the bed's moving parts.
You should therefore keep the remote control out of the reach of children!
