USING THE APPLIANCE

1 • Assembling the elements of
the appliance
Push the hose into the vacuum opening (fig. 1) and turn
to lock. To remove it, turn in the opposite direction
and pull.
• Fit the metal telescopic tube to the end of the nozzle
(Fig. 2).
• Fit the attachment for all floor types (18) to the end of
the telescopic metal tube (Fig. 3).
• Adjust the telescopic metal tube to the desired length
using the telescopic system (Fig 4).
• Fit the corresponding accessory to the end of the
metal telescopic tube or the nozzle:
- For rugs and carpets: use the all surface floor nozzle
(18) in the brush retracted or Turbo brush* position
(fibres and animal hair).
- For smooth surfaces with crevices (such as tiled
floors): use the all-surface nozzle (18) with the brush
extended or, for better results, use the smooth surface
nozzle* (19B.a*) without the removable brush.
- For fragile surfaces, such as parquet, it is
recommended to use the standard parquet nozzle
(19A*) or the nozzle with line of bristles (19B.b*).
IMPORTANT: The nozzle for smooth surfaces with
crevices 19B.a* is used to measure performance
associated with the energy label. This nozzle allows
you to optimise the dust-collection performance of
your appliance on smooth surfaces with crevices.
- For corners and difficult areas: use the crevice tool*.
- For furniture and fragile surfaces: use the brush which
is built into the nozzle or the upholstery nozzle*.
IMPORTANT Never operate the vacuum cleaner
without a bag and without a filtration system
(cassette).
IMPORTANT Always stop and unplug your vacuum
cleaner before changing accessories.
* According to model - These parts are specific to certain models
or they are accessories that can be purchased separately.
2 • Plugging in the electrical power
cord and using the vacuum
cleaner
Fully unroll the cord, plug in your vacuum cleaner and
press the On/Off pedal (fig.5).
Adjust the vacuuming power:
- with the electronic power regulator (13): turn the
electronic regulator knob to adjust the vacuuming
power: to the max position for floors and to the min
position for furniture and delicate fabrics (fig. 6).
- with the power regulator on the nozzle: open the
regulator shutter slider to manually decrease the
vacuuming power, e.g.: on fragile surfaces (fig. 7).
3 • Storing and transporting the
appliance
After use, stop your appliance by pressing on the on/off
pedal and unplug it (fig.8). Stow the cable by pressing
the automatic cable rewind pedal (fig.9). In the upright
position, place the suction unit in the parking position
(fig.10).
You can then carry and store your vacuum cleaner in
the park position (fig.11)
