INSTALLATION
AND SETUP
Your SmartWasher is shipped fully assembled except for the dolly,
which is packed in the box with the SmartWasher. (The OzzyMat,
support grid and false bottom of the sink are packed inside the sink).
Visually inspect for damage (minor scratches/scuffs are normal due
to the molding process).
The SmartWasher will weigh approximately 300 pounds (136 Kg.)
when it is filled with fluid. It should be installed close enough to a
nominal 115 VAC (220 VAC) Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)
electrical outlet so that it can be plugged in. The SmartWasher
should be the only thing plugged in to this circuit.
DO NOT FILL THE SMARTWASHER WITH OZZYJUICE...
...until you have assembled the dolly and placed the SmartWasher on
it.
PARTS WASHER SETUP
1. Bolt the heavy-duty casters to
the dolly base.
2. Place the SmartWasher on the
assembled dolly.
3. Remove the false bottom and
check to make sure mat support
grid is in the bottom of sink and
discard any packing material.
4. Remove the OzzyMat from its
package, unfold it and lay it on
the mat support grid (white side
up).
5. Place the false bottom in
position in the sink.
6. Form the flexible faucet to its
desired shape and be sure
that the parts brush and air
brush are inside the sink.
7. At start up, carefully add 25
gallons (five 5-gallon boxes)
of OzzyJuice to the SmartWasher by slowly pouring the
solution directly into the sink.
8. Plug unit in to a 115 V(220 V) GFCI electrical outlet.
9. The SmartWasher will take approximately four hours to heat
up to its optimal operating temperature of 105° F (+-5°)(40°
C) (+-3°). This temperature will be maintained as long as the
SmartWasher is plugged in and is full of OzzyJuice. (If the
low fluid light is on, the heater automatically shuts off).
PARTS WASHER OPERATION
1. The pump switch is attached to a timer. Turning the switch
"ON" (up) will start fluid flowing for ten minutes. To restart
the flow, turn the switch "OFF" (down) then "ON" again and
fluid will flow for another ten minutes.
2. Adjust the valve at the base of the faucet to control the flow
of the fluid through the faucet. The valve at the base of the
brush hose controls the flow of fluid through the brush. Both
outlets can be operated independently or together.
BRAKE WASHER
Regulating the Pressure From the Air Brush (The
SmartWasher does not have to be plugged into an electrical
outlet to make these adjustments).
1. Connect your air supply to the air intake male quick connect.
2. The regulator is shipped in the OFF position.
3. To adjust the fluid flow through the air brush, pull the yellow
cap on the regulator down until it turns freely.
4. Hold the air brush over the
sink. Press down on the
button on the brush and
Dolly Kit
slowly turn the yellow cap
on the regulator counter-
clockwise until you reach
the desired fluid pressure.
(The recommended
pressure is 5 - 10 p.s.i.).
Release the button on the
brush.
5. Push up on the yellow cap on the regulator to lock in place.
6. You are now ready to start cleaning brakes with your air
brush.
USING THE BRAKE WASHER
1. Unplug the SmartWasher from the electrical outlet, placing
the power cord over the control box and off the floor.
2. Roll the SmartWasher to the vehicle and position it under
the brake you desire to clean.
3. Attach an air hose to the brake washer's air intake hose and
use the air brush (with button) to clean the brake. Allow
the solution to drain back into your SmartWasher.
4. When finished, unhook the air intake hose and roll the
SmartWasher to the electrical outlet and plug it in.
