Possible Cause
Check to see if product is
registered with a new ac-
count.
LG Electronics registration
has occurred multiple
times.
Currently another user is
controlling the product.
Network connection issues.
Check the indicator.
The smartphone app sud-
denly shut down.
Solution
lf the same product is registered
under a new account, the previ-
ous account and information will
be deleted. The new account su-
persedes the old account informa-
tion.
The membership sign up is man-
aged by LG Electronics enterprise
wide. lf you have signed up previ-
ously, log in with your account in-
formation and then register the
product. When attempting to sign
up with the same ID, a message
stating that the ID already exists
will pop up.
The air conditioner control is
given to the smartphone which is
logged in first. The A/C cannot be
controlled by multiple users at the
same time. Once the user logs
out, the A/C becomes available
for other users.
Check the wireless connection
status of the smartphone.
The app may shut down once in a
while due to memory limitations of
the smartphone. Close any un-
necessary apps that may be run-
ning in the background before
using the LG Smart AC app to
control the product.
