1.6 General notes and measures

• Only use the shearing machine for the purpose described in the

operating instructions.

STOP
• Never clip wet or moist animals.
• Animals should only be clipped if children have been excluded from the
clipping area.
• Never clip with a defective machine. Have the shearing machine che-
cked immediately and have it repaired exclusively by an authorised tech-
nician.
• Never clip near materials, objects or gases likely to explode.
• Never clip with blunt or broken clipper blades.
• Avoid all contact with the moving clipper blades.
• Always store away your shearing machine in a clean and dry place out
of the reach of children and animals.

2. Proper use - charger

2.2 Charging
Before putting the cordless shearing machine into operation charge the
battery block (accumulator) as following:
1. Plug in the mains plug of the charger.
2. Insert the rechargeable battery block into the charger. The charging
process starts immediately, the red control light will be lit. After a
period of 60 – 65 minutes (at 20° C) the battery block is fully charged.
As soon as the battery block is fully charged the green control light will
light up.
3. Hold the charger firmly and pull the battery block out.
4. Disconnect the mains plug from the power supply.

1. The charger is furnished with a resetting thermal cutout. A tem-
perature-controlled switch disconnects the power supply if an in-
admissible temperature is reached. This can be recognized immedia-
tely by the LED control light dying down. Overheating can be caused by
direct sunlight, excessively high mains voltage, soiled ventilation slots
