Data exchange between MDU and terminal using the data cable
(not supplied)
Note:
Condition: the first commissioning (programming and deleting keys
have been allocated) of the terminal or a RESET of the terminal must
have been carried out. The MDU key supplied is required to activate
the communication mode on the terminal.
The following cables are available to connect the MDU to the terminal:
917.90.265 Programming cable MDU V2 - LockerLock
917.90.266 Programming cable MDU V2 - DTSH V2
917.90.267 Programming cable MDU V2 - DFT V2
1. Plug the plug of the programming cable into the terminal.
Switch MDU on.
2. Plug the plug into the MDU.
3. For the remaining steps, refer to "Data exchange with infrared inter-
face" (page 61).

Important!
To prevent discharging of the rechargeable batteries, the programming cable
should be removed from the MDU again immediately following data transfer.
