1] Remove all parts from package. Damaged
or missing parts can be quickly obtained by
contacting Sanus Customer Service at (800)
359-5520 or www.sanus.com.
2] Group each top plate and base with a pillar.
The rounded edge of the pillar faces forward.
The speaker cable hole in the base and the bolt
mounting hole in the top plate should be to the
rear of the pillar.
3] Using the 2.25" base screws, align countersunk
holes in the base plate with corresponding holes
in either end of each pillar. Tighten screws with
a large tipped Phillips screw driver. A little hand
soap on the threads may make the screws easier
to turn. Using the 1.25" top plate screws, align
countersunk holes in the top plate with corre-
sponding holes in each pillar and tighten. Make
sure that each screw is following the pilot hole.
To avoid stripping the screw holes, do not use
a power screwdriver for final tightening.
4] Two forms of speaker mounts are provided, brass
speaker studs and neoprene speaker pads.* In
most installations, brass studs will offer superior
performance. To use the brass studs, simply
push them into the holes in the corner of the top
plate. Since brass studs can scratch the bottom
of your speaker cabinet, the neoprene speaker
pads are provided as an alternative. Neoprene
speaker pads are self-adhesive and should
be placed over the holes in the corner of the
top plate.
