Brown: phase of the electrical power
supply for commanding the rotation of
the gearmotor in the direction opposite
to that relative to the black wire.

Once you've made the electrical connection,
check that the motor turns in the direction you
want. Otherwise invert the brown wire with
the black one.

DESCRIPTION OF DIP-SWITCH FUNTIONS
DIP 1 = Wind sensor life- check: for enabling
or disabling control over the wind sensor's
life status.
When set to ON: if within 120 hours no vital
signal is sent from the anemometer
the control unit rolls in the awning and
disables all of the sensors. The awning
can be extended out again only via
manual commands lasting 3" seconds".
Once a new signal is received the control
unit starts to work properly.
When set to OFF: no intervention if in 120
hours no life signal arrives from the
anemometer.
DIP 2 = Reset wind alarm: when the apposite
dip-switch is activated it lets you modify the
behaviour of the control unit at the end of
the 15 safety seconds after the wind alarm.
When set to ON: at the end of the wind alarm
the awning extends out again. This
movement takes place both during the
day and at night, regardless of wh ether
a sensor is present or not.
When set to OFF: at the end of the wind alarm,
after the 15' of safety time, the awning
extends out again only if the sun sensor
is connected and exceeds the brightness
'
limit set by the sun trimmer.
DIP 3 = Direction
of rain alarm.
When set to ON: in case of rain alarm it
command an opening
When set to OFF: in case of rain alarm it
commands a closing.
DIP 4 = Automatic/man present mode: When
set to ON:mode (man on), the motor is
commanded only as long as the button
is pressed.
When set to OFF: auomatic mode, pressing
and then releasing the command button,
the movement of the motor continues
until the programmed endpoint or until
a new movement command is given in
the opposite direction.

Trimmer

Km/h (- sensitive).
Sun calibration = Sun adjusting = Cover
the sensor and keep pressed the "Prog button
on the "control unit" for 5" (an LED will flash

Weather commands
The CHOPIN control unit associated different
priorities to the alarms triggered by the
weather unit:
• The rain alarm has priority status over the sun
and rain alarms, and inhibits them.
• The rain alarm has priority status over the
sun alarm, and inhibits it.
STATUS WIND ALARM
When the wind speed exceeds the set limit
value, that is, 2 minutes, the control unit
shifts into wind-alarm mode. This is signalled
when a red "wind" LED-light switches on. In
this state the control unit draws in the awning
and keeps it closed for the alarm time plus a
safety interval of 15' (the LED flashes) after the
wind velocity returns under the threshold. The
manual commands are inhibited.
If you want to stop the "wind" alarm, you
need to:
•
when raising, keep pressed for about
10" the STOP on control unit;
•
when it is closed, press STOP and DWN
simultaneously in the control unit.
RAIN ALARM STATUS
Water present on the rain sensor for at least
5" commands the control unit to shift into
rain alarm mode; this is signalled by a gree
LED-light.
SUN ALARM STATUS
The manual commands have priority status on
the sun sensor.
Once the limit is exceeded for 2' , the control
unit commands the awning to extend and
open. The LED-light of the card flashes ever
