8. Tips and recommendations

8.1 Problems with the Lighting Modulis RTS Ramp?

Problems
Pressing a button on the RTS control
point has no effect on the Lighting
Modulis RTS Ramp.
The Lighting Modulis RTS Ramp
does not provide suffi cient lighting.
The lighting Modulis RTS Ramp does
not come on.

8.2 Replacing a lost or broken control point

Caution: This reset is carried out if all the RTS control points have been lost or broken.
Caution! This reset deletes all control points but retains the programmed favourite light intensity.
Caution! Only switch off the power to the Lighting Modulis RTS Ramp to be reset!
CAUTION! Do not use an Inis RT/Inis RTS control point for resetting
1) Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
2) Switch the power supply back on for approximately 10 seconds (for
at least 5 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds).
3) Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
4) Switch the power supply back on: the ramp will fl ash slowly.
5) Briefl y press the PROG button on the new RTS control point (f):
- the ramp will come on then go out to indicate that the new RTS
control point has been programmed into the Lighting Modulis RTS
Ramp.
8.3 Restoring the original confi guration
Caution! This reset deletes all control points and resets the favourite
light intensity level to 50% of the total power.
Caution! Only switch off the power to the Lighting Modulis RTS Ramp
to be reset!
Caution! Do not use the Inis RT/Inis RTS control point for resetting!
1) Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
2) Switch the power supply back on for approximately 10 seconds
(for at least 5 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds).
3) Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
4) Switch the power supply back on: the ramp will fl ash slowly.
5) Press the PROG button on the RTS control point until the ramp
comes on then goes out twice in succession: all control points have
been deleted.
- Follow the procedures in the section entitled "Commissioning" to add
RTS control points.

Possible causes
The power supply is faulty.
The RTS control point has not
been programmed into the Lighting
Modulis RTS Ramp.
The RTS control point used is not
compatible with the Lighting Modulis
RTS Ramp.
The batteries in the RTS control point
are weak.
The lighting power of the Lighting
Modulis RTS Ramp is not suffi cient.
The lighting lamp or lamps are blown
or broken.
Lighting Modulis RTS Ramp
Solutions
Check the power supply.
Follow the procedure for programming
an RTS control point.
Ensure the two products
compatible.
Replace the batteries.
See the lighting power in the
technical data.
Replace the lighting lamp(s).
