Trouble Shooting
Please read this section if you have any fault trying to operate the vehicle
Problem
Engine Does Not Start
Engine starts then stalls
Engine runnign but car doesn't
move
Erratic control
If you encounter any other fault whilst operating the vehicle please contact your local hobby shop or alternatively contact your local distributor.
Cause
Out of fuel
Air Filter is blocked
Throttle isn't adjusted properly
Throttle servo is not setup correctly
Pullstart is not working
Choke lever position?
Spark plug not working correctly?
is the plug wire in good condition?
Is the engine stop switch working correctly?
Are the piston and cylinder in good condition
Fuel mixture is too old?
Out of fuel
Air Filter is blocked
Throttle isn't adjusted properly
Throttle servo is not setup correctly
Do you have a clutch problem?
Engine is overheated
Idle speed is set too low
Do you have a drivetrain problem?
Fuel mixture is too old?
Are the brakes stuck?
Do you have a clutch problem?
Receiver battery capacity is low
Do you have a drivetrain problem?
Is the failsafe system working?
Weak batteries in transmitter and receiver
Transmitter or receiver is off
Transmitter reverse switches are set incorrectly Check the reverse switch settings
Transmitter End Point Adjustments (EPA) are
set incorrectly
Brake does not work
Remedy
Fill the tank with fuel and prime engine
Check air filter, clean or replace if necessary
Adjust the carburettor back to factory settings
Set throttle to neutral and adjust the throttle linkage
Check Pull Starter and repair if necessary
Make sure choke lever is in the correct position
Check Spark plug and ignition coil and replace if
necessary
Replace plug wire if it is damaged
Check and replace engine stop switch if it is broken
Check piston and cylinder for wear and damage and
replace if necessary
Make new fuel mixture
Fill the tank with fuel and prime engine
Check air filter, clean or replace if necessary
Adjust the carburettor back to factory settings
Set throttle to neutral and adjust the throttle linkage
Check clutch for damage
Allow engine to cool and then restart
Adjust the idle speed
Check drivetrain for damage
Make new fuel mixture
Make sure there is no brake drag at neutral
Check clutch for damage
Charge receiver battery
Check drivetrain for damage
Make sure failsafe system is working properly
Install fresh batteries
Turn on both transmitter and receiver
Check your EPA Dials on your transmitter
Set throttle to neutral and adjust the brake linkage
