Safety instructions

The safety instructions are to be observed during any installation operation.
Take off your jewellery (bracelet, chain, etc.) during installation.
For drilling and welding operations, wear special glasses and appropriate protection.
Do not connect to the solar panel or the motor before finishing the installation process.
Under no circumstances use a high-pressure water cleaner.
When installing the battery cases, wear protective glasses and clothing, and use only insulated tools. If connecting and disconnecting storage
batteries, observe the procedures defined by UTE C 18-510 (wear a face shield). Observe the accident prevention rules, as well as standards EN
50272-2 and EN 50110-1.
Any acid splashes on the skin or eyes must be immediately washed with plenty of clean water. Seek medical help immediately. Wash clothing in water.
The electrolyte is highly corrosive. Under normal operating conditions, direct contact with the electrolyte is impossible. If the monobloc is damaged, do
not touch the electrolyte.
The metal parts of the batteries are still live: do not place parts or tools on the batteries!
The batteries do not require servicing or topping up with water. Whenever a battery is opened it will be destroyed and its warranty invalidated.
Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
It is vital to install an external unlocking system (ref. 9012962 or 9012961) if the garage door is the only access to the garage interior.
Disconnect the wires before cutting them, to prevent the risk of damaging the charge controller.
The case must not be placed flat when the batteries are in use or charging.
Do not throw out your device or spent batteries with domestic waste. It is your responsibility to dispose of your electronic equipment in the relevant
recycling points.
Recommendations
To optimise the battery lifetime, you are advised to store them fully charged.
Use a soft, wet cloth to clean the solar panel.
