* USTV (FCC) ratings:
The particular rating that you have selected will be locked (and indicated as a black lock symbol). Also,
all of the age-based ratings will be locked within the particular group. Suppose that the TV-G rating and
all of its contents (V, S, L, and D) are locked.
In that case, more restrictive ratings (TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA) and all of their contents (V, S, L, and D)
are automatically locked as well.
* MPAA ratings:
The particular rating that you have selected will be locked. In addition, more restrictive ratings will be
locked as well.
* Neither USTV (FCC) ratings nor MPAA ratings apply to news programs.
Tools
When you enter"Tools＂menu, you can find three sub menus as below:
1. Receiver Information
2. Load Factory Default
3. Software Upgrade
You can press
to select menu items among each item and press ENTER to confirm.
1. Receiver Information
When you enter information menu, you will see
some receiver's information. You can press EXIT
to draw back from Tools menu.
2. Load Factory Default
When you press ENTER key in the Load
Factory Default item:
1. A dialogue will pop out for you to enter the
password, and the default password is
"0000＂.
2. After you input the correct password, a
warning message will show up to inquire you
" This operation will load default and
erase all the channels that user added,
continue?＂
3. If you select Yes option, all revised
parameters of the receiver will reset to
default value. Please be carefual when you
use this function.
3. Software Upgrade
On the Software Upgrade menu, press
select an upgrade method and press ENTER
into the menu. You need to input the default
password " 0000 ＂ to enter each item as
follows:
Upgrade By RS-232
On Upgrade By RS-232 menu, press
select the All/ Code/ Logo/ Database upgrade
item. Then move highlight to Start on master
receiver and press ENTER to start upgrade.
This function is reserved for factory s upgrade
currently.
Upgrade By Air
This function can upgrade the software
through signal from the cable. Input the
frequency value and download PID, and select
bandwidth.
Then move the highlight to the Start button
and press ENTER to begin to upgrade.
