The connecting trim with timer VZ 400 can be
combined with the following appliances:
VC 421/422, VF 411, VI 411, VK 411, VP 421
VR 421: do not install the appliance between two
Installation
• Insert the appliances into the cut-out in the
worktop and align them.
• Stick both sealing strips onto the side of the
connecting trim.
• Place the connecting trim between the
appliances.
• Turn the clamping screws of the Vario appliances
under the countertop and tighten them.
• Loosen the retaining screws on the bottom of the
connecting strip. Turn the retaining supports 90°
and tighten the retaining screws.
• Firmly plug the connecting cable into the two
timer units (4). The plugs must lock into place.
• Firmly plug the connecting cable into the control
panels of the vario appliances (3). The plugs must

lock into place.
Note: take care to connect in the correct order

(right appliance - rear timer, left appliance - front
timer).
• Plug the power unit cable into either of the two
sockets (2). Plug the power unit into the wall
socket.

Note: only use the power unit supplied.
