HAND-HELD ELECTRIC TACKER

1. Keep work area clear. Cluttered working
areas can cause injuries.
2. Consider work area surroundings. Protect
electric tools against rain. Avoid using in
damp or wet conditions. Keep work areas
well-lit. Do not use electrical tools if there
is risk of causing � re or explosion.
3. Beware of electric shock. Avoid body
contact with earthed surfaces such as
pipes, radiators and refrigerators.
4. Do not allow children or other personnel
in the vicinity of the tool or extension
lead. Keep all non-working personnel
away from the work area.
5. Keep tool in a dry, secure and locked
place when not in use, and out of reach
of children.
6. Never overload the tool. Best
performance will be achieved by correct
use. Max. output: 20 staples/tacks per
minute.
7. Always use the right tools for the job. Do
not use small tools for jobs which require
large tools. Use tools for their intended
purpose only. Use the right accessories
(staples/tacks).
8. Always wear appropriate clothing. Avoid
loose clothes or jewellery which may
snag.

9. Always wear the necessary safety gear.
10. Avoid straining the power cable. Do not
carry by power cable. Do not disconnect
from mains by pulling cable. Protect
cable from heat, oil and sharp objects.
11. Secure item to be tacked. Use a cramp
or vice. This is safer than holding the
item by hand and allows use of tool

12. Maintain tools with care Follow

and item and use common sense. Do not
operate tool when you are tired.
