How to operate your RECARO seat
10. RECARO vent

To activate ventilation, press the switch
forward (at the raised point). Press the
switch in the opposite direction to de-
activate.
Risk of injury
The seatback of a seat with RECARO
®
vent
has ventilation slits on the back.
Take special care to ensure that
children do not grab hold of this vent.
Ensure
that
it
blocked.
Notes!
If the ventilation system of the RECARO
®
vent
is damaged, a draught in the area
of the kidneys can result.
Therefore, do not place any sharp or
heavy objects on the seat or stand or
kneel on the seat.
Do not use decorative covers or other
coverings for your seat which are not
expressly permitted for use with a
RECARO seat with RECARO vent
Proper functioning of the RECARO
®
vent
is no longer ensured if impermis-
sible covers are used. In the worst case
scenario, the ventilation system would
be permanently damaged.
11. Seat heating

Press the action point of the switch to
switch on the heating.
After a warm-up period, the heating system
maintains a constant, pleasant temperature
in the seat and backrest cushions.
Press the switch in the opposite direction to
switch off.

Risk of electric shock and
overheating
There is a risk of electric shock if the
seat heating mats are damaged.
Therefore, do not place any sharp or
heavy objects on the seat or stand or
kneel on the seat.
Do not use decorative covers or any
other covers for your seat in order to
prevent it from overheating.
12. Adjusting the Airmatic lumbar
vertebrae support (lordosis)

The region of the lumbar vertebral column
is placed under considerable strain when
sitting. Suitable support can prevent pain
and injury from arising. The RECARO seat
takes particular account of this with its
basin design and ergonomic upholstery.
Two inflatable air cushions are located
under the backrest cushion. You pump up
or empty the air cushions using the switch
on the cover.
Press the front of the switch to pump up
both air cushions. Press the rear of the
®
switch to empty both air cushions. To shift
.
the point of pressure of the lumbar support
upward, press the top of the switch. To shift
the point of pressure downward, press the
bottom of the switch.
Note!
Owing
to
specification of the backrest, very little
pumping is required.
