Using Dolby Surround
Adjusting the speaker
level
Setting the speaker levels so that the volume
from the different speakers is the same at the
listening position results in a greater sense of
presence. Use the test tones produced from
the speakers to adjust so that the volume from
the different speakers is the same.
Press "A.PROC" and select the "DOLBY
SURROUND" mode.
Use the " " or " " key to select the
"TESTTONE" (test noise selection) mode.
In this mode adjust the levels of the speakers.
Press "ENT". Test tones are produced from the
speakers for about 2 seconds, in the following
order: A FL A C A FR A RR A RL A
Note: If the speaker is set to the off mode, the
level of that speaker cannot be adjusted.
