Intended use

ROTHENBERGER Compact pressing jaws with interchangeable inserts are exclusively intended for
use with ROTHENBERGER pressing tools as well as with pressing units with compatible jaw holders
and a constant axial thrust of 19 to 20 kN.
Any other use or uses which go beyond this are not valid for intended use.
ROTHENBERGER will not be liable for any damage resulting from invalid use. The user will be solely
responsible for the risk.
Another component part of the intended use is the reading and following of the Operating
Instructions and the Inspection and Maintenance Conditions.
The pressing jaw with interchangeable inserts may only be operated by qualified specialist craftsmen
from the sanitation/heating/air conditioning area after successful training.

Danger! Remove the pressing jaw from the machine in order to fit or replace the
interchangeable inserts!
 Fit appropriate interchangeable inserts into the pressing jaw.
The nominal width and the pressing contour of the interchangeable inserts must correspond to
the nominal width and the contour of the fitting to be pressed!
 Insert the pressing jaw in the pressing machine and lock firmly (see instructions for the use of
the pressing device).
Caution!!
The jaw with interchangeable inserts must be regularly inspected for damage. If damage is
visible the jaw with interchangeable inserts may not be used any more and must be sent to the
designated Service Centre for assessment of the fitness for use.
