in places where there are strong gusts
of wind.
-Install the apparatus in a well
ventilated area with little dust, or other
air suspended solids, that could block
the air flow of the radiators.
-Install the apparatus in a place where
it is not directly exposed to rain or
sunlight.
-Choose an area place where the noise
or the air emitted by the apparatus does
not cause a disturbance to neighbours.
-Install the apparatus on a flat, robust
base to avoid excess noise or vibrations.
-Avoid the installation of the apparatus
in places where combustible gases may
be produced, or may accumulate or
leak.
-If the outdoor unit is installed at a
raised height, firmly fix the legs of the
outdoor unit with nuts.
Caution
Installation of the apparatus in the
following areas may prevent its correct
functioning, or prove dangerous:
-Areas in which machine oil is used
frequently (for example, the air outlet
of an industrial compressor)
-Coastal areas with a high concentration
of salt
-Heat sources with sulphuric gas
-Other areas with especial atmospheric
conditions.
Installation of the indoor unit
Mounting the support base
-Choose a structural element on the
wall (for example, a column) and fit
the support base in a horizontal
position.
-If these instructions are not followed,
the indoor unit may drip water and
make strange noises.
-When installing the indoor unit, keep
the upper right and left sides of the unit
at a distance no less than 100mm from
the walls and 2000mm from the
floor.(fig.1)
-Make a hole in the wall
-Make sure the holes made are lower
down than the bottom of the indoor
unit.
-With a drill, make a 65mm diameter
hole.
-Insert the socket in the wall
Connection of electrical wires
-The electrical supply should originate
from a direct principal line.
-The capacity of the wire must not be
inferior to 1.5mm 2 . Use a socket with
earthing connection and a minimum
15Amp.
-The specifications of the socket and
connection wires between both units
must comply with the applicable wiring
regulations.
-Check that the wiring matches the
wiring diagram and that the colours
and numbers of the wires correspond,
to avoid any problems related to
polarity.
-The connection wires between the
indoor and outdoor units must be fixed
to a surface or wall and not exposed
to direct sunlight.
Warning
-Do not try to lengthen the power
