Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment. If you change your own oil, please dispose of it properly. Put it
in a sealed container, and take it to a recycling center. Do not discard it in a trash bin, dump it on the ground, or pour it down a
drain.
B. Air Cleaner Servicing
A dirty air cleaner will restrict air flow to the carburetor. To prevent carburetor malfunction, service the air cleaner
regularly. Service more frequently when operating the generator in extremely dusty areas.
Using gasoline or flammable solvent to clean the air filter can cause a fire or explosion. Use only soapy water or
nonflammable solvent.
Check the air cleaner element; keep the element clear and free of dirt.

Remove left access cover screws, remove the cover.
b.
Remove the three screws on the air cleaner case.
c.
Pull out the air cleaner cartridge following the arrow point.
d.
Check the air cleaner element, clean or change with a new one if necessary.
