D. Battery assembly and maintenance (electric start models only)
1.
Remove the screws from left access cover, take off the cover。

Put the battery into the battery tray install the battery cover and tighten the clamping nuts.
3.
Disassemble the setscrew, connect the wire. The red terminal is anode(+) and the black terminal is
cathode(-).

4.
Reinstall the cover.
◆ Make sure to connect the right poles, (the red side is Anode and the black is cathode.)
◆ Incorrect installation will lead to battery and engine damage..
